AREAS OF PRACTICE
Civil Litigation
Mr. Halstead focuses primarily on civil litigation matters involving a wide variety of issues and representative clients. Mr. Halstead has represented many governmental entities, including municipalities, counties and state agencies, such as the Arizona Game and Fish and the Arizona Department of Agriculture.
Mr. Halstead’s representation of non-governmental entities has also been widely varied and has involved construction defects, negligence claims, personal injury matters, products liability, and environmental issues.
Mr. Halstead regularly represents his clients, including many insurance companies, in all aspects of the legal system. While most cases are resolved by way of an Alternative Dispute Resolution method, i.e. arbitration, mediation or settlement conference, Mr. Halstead has represented clients as lead counsel in many jury and bench trials in Justice, Superior and Tribal Courts throughout Northern Arizona.

Prior to joining Mangum, Wall, Stoops & Warden, P.L.L.C., Mr. Halstead was a Deputy County Attorney in Navajo County, prosecuting cases throughout the County from Kayenta to Pinetop. In that position, Mr. Halstead tried several high profile cases that gained attention from national media outlets.
